FOR SCHOOLS

IT support built for schools — not adapted to them

From K–12 campuses to multi-site colleges, we run school ICT end to end: student and staff devices, classroom technology, cyber safety, and a help desk that understands bell times, terms and BYOD. Australian-based technicians, all with valid Working with Children Checks.

WHY IT MATTERS

The problem we solve

Schools aren't small businesses with whiteboards. They run hundreds of devices with a tiny (or no) internal IT team, a duty of care over minors online, hard deadlines every term, and budgets set a year in advance. Generic IT providers struggle with that reality — we built our practice around it.

SynmorixTech acts as your school's ICT department or works alongside your existing coordinator. We handle the fleet, the network, the identity platform and the security layer, so teachers can teach and your leadership team gets clear reporting for council or the board.

Term-ready, every term

Rollouts, updates and maintenance are scheduled into holidays and pupil-free days. Devices, timetables software and classroom AV are tested before students walk in.

Duty of care, handled

Filtering, monitoring and safeguarding policies aligned to Australian eSafety guidance — with evidence you can show parents, auditors and your school board.

Predictable budgets

Flat per-student or per-device pricing, a 3-year device lifecycle plan and no surprise invoices. Perfect for annual budget cycles.

HOW IT WORKS

Our process

  1. ICT audit

We review your fleet, network, licensing and safeguarding controls and score them against best practice for schools.

  2. Roadmap

You get a prioritised, costed plan mapped to school terms — quick wins first, larger projects in holidays.

  3. Onboard

We document everything, deploy management and security tooling, and introduce the help desk to your staff.

  4. Run & report

Ongoing support, proactive maintenance and a plain-English report each term for your leadership team.

THE DIFFERENCE

A generalist MSP vs a school specialist

Most school IT frustration isn't incompetence — it's a provider built for offices being pointed at a campus. Here's what changes when the provider is built for schools.

FAQ

Common questions

Do you work with both primary and secondary schools?

Yes. We support K–12 schools, independent and faith-based schools, and early learning centres across Sydney and NSW. Support models scale from a few dozen staff devices to 1:1 student programs with over a thousand endpoints.

Are your technicians cleared to work on school sites?

Yes. Every SynmorixTech technician who attends a school site holds a valid NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC), and we follow your sign-in and child-safety procedures on campus.

Can you work alongside our existing ICT coordinator?

Absolutely. Many schools keep a coordinator for day-to-day classroom support while we handle infrastructure, security, Intune and escalations. We define the split clearly so nothing falls between the cracks.

How do you handle the January and mid-year rushes?

Device enrolments, re-imaging and network changes are planned into school holidays with a locked schedule agreed a term ahead. Day one of term is treated as a hard deadline, not a target.
